Four working PowerShell scripts for Windows in one archive. Each one runs with a single command, each one was tested on a real machine, and each one ships with an instruction file and real sample output.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL FOUR

Windows 10 or 11, PowerShell 5.1 which is bundled with Windows. None of the four scripts needs administrator rights.

01 REGISTRY BACKUP

Exports the key registry branches to a dated folder and writes a CSV report of what was saved. Rollback is a double-click on any .reg file.

Replaces two minutes of manual regedit work per branch, with the real chance of a mistyped path.

02 NETWORK DIAGNOSTICS

Collects network adapters, current Wi-Fi state, default routes and DNS servers into one report. Read-only, safe to run on someone else's machine, and the output is something you can attach to a support ticket.

03 FOLDER ANALYSIS

Walks any directory and builds an inventory: file counts by type, sizes, and a written report. Handy for finding what is filling a drive, or verifying that an export produced everything it should.

04 ORDER FILTER

Reads job posts from a text file, scores each one against your keyword profile, and cuts anything carrying scam wording. On the bundled sample of six jobs it returned two worth answering and two stopped by red flags.

BUGS FOUND AND FIXED DURING DEVELOPMENT

These are described honestly because they are what separates a tested solution from a half-hour script. Each fix was verified by re-running and comparing the output.

1. reg.exe rejects a registry path containing a colon. The PowerShell provider requires one, reg.exe does not and fails with invalid key name.

2. A .ps1 without a BOM is read as ANSI by PowerShell 5.1, which breaks Cyrillic comments and crashes the parser.

3. A grammatical case difference in a variable name. The array was assigned to one name and read from another, so .Count always returned 0 and every legitimate job scored zero.

4. String.Contains finds the substring 'crypt' inside the Russian word for 'script', so the filter was killing the very jobs it was built to rank. Replaced with a regex requiring word boundaries.

5. The adapter search looked for Wi-Fi in the connection name, which reads 'Wireless Network' on Russian Windows, so the script reported no adapters on a working network.

WHAT IS IN THE ARCHIVE
