This Privacy Policy explains how Getly ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our digital goods marketplace at getly.store.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

  • Name and email address (via Google, GitHub, or magic link sign-in)
  • Profile picture (from OAuth provider)
  • Store information (if you become a seller)
  • Crypto wallet address (if you opt into stablecoin payouts)
  • Payout wallet details (stablecoin address and network)

Transaction Data

  • Purchase and order history
  • Payment method details (processed by NOWPayments or our card processor, and by PayPal for orders paid before 28 September 2026; not stored by us)
  • Download records
  • Coupon and gift code usage
  • Subscription and affiliate activity

Automatically Collected Information

  • Device type, browser, IP address, and operating system
  • Page views, search queries, and browsing activity for analytics and recommendations

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Getly marketplace
  • Process transactions, payouts, and refunds
  • Send purchase confirmations, download links, and account notifications
  • Personalize your experience with AI-powered recommendations and search
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service
  • Generate anonymized analytics to improve the platform

3. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following trusted third-party providers strictly as needed to operate the platform:

  • Stripe - Card payments and seller payouts made before September 2026 (historical records). Stripe Privacy Policy
  • netcup - Dedicated server hosting in Germany for the application, its PostgreSQL database and cache (administered by Getly). netcup Privacy Policy

  • Trustpilot - After a paid order we pass your name, email address and order reference to Trustpilot so it can send you one invitation to review Getly. Nothing is offered for a review; you can ignore the invitation. Trustpilot Privacy Policy

Sellers you buy from receive your name and the email address you paid with, for their own orders only. They use them to deliver what you bought, such as a software registration key, and to answer questions about your order. If you buy a gift, the recipient's address is not shared with the seller.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

4. Cookies & Tracking

We use the following types of cookies:

  • Essential cookies - Required for authentication and session management
  • Preference cookies - Remember your language, currency, and theme settings
  • Analytics cookies - Help us understand how the platform is used (anonymized)
  • Cart cookies - Preserve your shopping cart between sessions
  • Affiliate cookies - Track referral sources for the affiliate program (30-day duration)

You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent you from using parts of the platform.

5. Affiliate & Referral Program Data

If you participate in our Affiliate or Referral Program, we collect additional data to track performance and calculate payouts:

  • Affiliate link click data - IP address, timestamp, and referring URL to attribute conversions
  • Referral relationships - Who referred whom, tracked via unique referral codes
  • Commission and reward amounts - Calculated from referred purchases for payout processing
  • Payout history - Withdrawal amounts, dates, and payout method used (USDT/USDC stablecoins; Stripe for earlier payouts)

Affiliate and referral data is retained for as long as your account is active and for 7 years afterward for tax compliance. You may opt out of the affiliate or referral program at any time through your dashboard settings.

6. Data Security

We take your data security seriously and implement the following measures:

  • All data transmitted over HTTPS with TLS encryption
  • OAuth-based authentication (no passwords stored)
  • Rate limiting and CSRF protection on all API endpoints
  • Regular security audits and dependency updates

7. Data Retention

We retain data according to the following guidelines:

  • Account data - Retained while your account is active
  • Transaction records - Retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance
  • Analytics data - Anonymized and aggregated after 90 days
  • Download logs - Retained for 1 year for audit purposes
  • Deleted account data - Purged within 30 days of deletion request
  • Email campaign data - Retained for 1 year after campaign completion
  • Payment evidence - the IP address and browser recorded when you pay are kept for 18 months to answer payment disputes, then deleted

You may request early deletion of your data by contacting us. Some data may be retained as required by law.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you have certain rights regarding your personal data:

All Users

  • Access and download your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Opt out of marketing emails at any time

EU/EEA Users (GDPR)

  • Right to request deletion of personal information

Getly is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of Getly after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

11. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for all international data transfers in compliance with applicable regulations.
