Sell Digital Products with Crypto

USDT and USDC payouts on 5 blockchains. No Stripe required.

Crypto-native payouts solve a real problem. Stripe Connect supports roughly 50 countries, which leaves creators in 100+ countries without a way to receive money from a global digital marketplace. Getly is one of the first major digital-goods platforms with native USDT and USDC payouts on Tron, Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, and Solana — settled twice a month, tracked per order, and available from day one.

Who this is for

Three creators Stripe leaves behind

Crypto payouts are not a marketing gimmick on Getly. They exist because three specific groups of creators have been telling marketplaces the same thing for years: “I make great work, I have buyers, but I cannot get paid.”

Creators outside Stripe coverage

Vietnam, Nigeria, Argentina, Pakistan, Egypt, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine outside Diia.City, Bangladesh, Iran-adjacent jurisdictions, most of Central Asia. Stripe Connect does not operate there. Crypto payouts do — and USDT on Tron is the de-facto local stablecoin in most of these markets, convertible to local cash through any peer-to-peer exchange.

Stripe-flagged niches

Stripe spent 2024 and 2025 aggressively de-platforming creators in AI-adjacent, gaming-adjacent, and adult-adjacent niches — even when the accounts were fully compliant. Crypto payouts give those creators a parallel rail that does not depend on a single processor's risk team waking up in a bad mood.

Crypto-native creators

DAO contributors, Web3 designers, on-chain illustrators, and anyone whose treasury, expenses, and identity already live in stablecoins. Skipping the fiat off-ramp is faster, cheaper, and means one fewer KYC bottleneck between a sale and your wallet.

How it works

Crypto payouts on Getly, end to end

The flow is intentionally close to the fiat flow, just with stablecoins on the outbound side. You do not have to think about gas, exchange rates, or contract calls — Getly and NOWPayments handle the on-chain mechanics.

  1. 1

Email or wallet — both work. No KYC for sellers under $10k/year in earnings, then a light identity check for tax reporting compliance. Most creators are listing within ten minutes of clicking Sign Up.

  2. 2

    List products

Same flow as fiat: upload your files, set a price in USD, write a description, pick a category. The product page never mentions crypto unless you want it to — buyers see a normal product listing in their local currency.

  3. 3

    Buyer checks out

Buyers pick at checkout: Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay) or crypto (USDT/USDC via NOWPayments invoice on the same five networks). Either way, your earnings accrue in your account in USD value.

  4. 4

    Earnings accrue in USD

Whether the buyer paid by card or by stablecoin, your dashboard shows the same number — your seller share in USD. We track each order item individually so you can see where each dollar came from.

  5. 5

Choose USDT or USDC and a network

In settings, set your wallet address, pick USDT or USDC, and pick one of the five supported networks. You can change this any time before the payout cutoff (12th for the 15th batch, 28th for the 1st batch).

  6. 6

    Payout day: 1st or 15th, 03:00 UTC

NOWPayments Mass Payouts API sends the stablecoin to your wallet on every 1st and 15th of the month. Tron arrives in about a minute. Solana in seconds. Ethereum in roughly five minutes. The transaction hash lands in your dashboard so you can verify on-chain.

The minimum crypto payout is $5 (USD-equivalent), versus $10 for Stripe fiat payouts. We set it lower because stablecoin transfer fees are predictable, so smaller amounts still make economic sense to dispatch.

Networks

Five networks, one decision

Getly supports the five networks that account for ~95% of stablecoin transfers in 2026. The right choice depends on where you cash out and how often. As a rough rule of thumb: pick Tron with USDT if you live anywhere in Asia, Africa, or Latin America and convert to local fiat through peer-to-peer exchanges. Pick Solana with USDC if you spend on-chain or cash out via Coinbase. Pick Ethereum only if a specific exchange or counterparty requires mainnet.

NetworkUSDTUSDCAvg feeSpeedBest for
Tron (TRC20)Most pickedYesYes$0.50–$1~1 minCheapest fees, deepest exchange liquidity in Asia/Africa/LatAm
Solana (SPL)NoYes~$0.001~10 secCheapest and fastest — USDC only
PolygonYesYes$0.01–$0.10~30 secCheap, ETH-compatible, easy DeFi access
BSC (BEP20)YesYes$0.20–$0.50~5 secCheap and fast, big exchange support (Binance)
EthereumYesYes$5–$30 (volatile)~5 minOnly if you specifically need mainnet

Fees and confirmation times are typical Q1 2026 ranges and shift with network load. Ethereum gas in particular can spike during NFT mints or DeFi events — if gas matters to you, avoid Ethereum mainnet entirely and use Polygon or BSC.

USDT vs USDC

Honest tradeoffs between the two stablecoins

Both USDT and USDC are dollar-pegged stablecoins. Both have held their peg through every major crypto cycle. The differences come down to liquidity, transparency, and which exchange you plan to cash out through.

USDT (Tether)

The largest stablecoin by far. About 95% of crypto exchange pairs are quoted in USDT, which makes it the easiest currency to convert to local fiat through peer-to-peer exchanges in Vietnam, Nigeria, Argentina, Pakistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, and most of the Global South.

Tradeoff: USDT is issued by Tether, a centralized company with a complicated audit history. Most professionals consider it safe in 2026, but it is not as transparent as USDC.

USDC (Circle)

Issued by Circle, regulated in the US, with monthly reserve attestations from a Big Four auditor. The default stablecoin on Coinbase and the Solana ecosystem. If you cash out via Coinbase, Kraken, or any US-regulated exchange, USDC is one click cheaper than USDT.

Tradeoff: smaller liquidity in some regions. Peer-to-peer exchanges in Asia and Africa quote far better USDT prices than USDC prices, so if you cash out locally, USDT usually wins.

Quick rule: if you live in Asia, Africa, or Latin America and cash out P2P, pick USDT on Tron. If you cash out through Coinbase or live in the US/EU, pick USDC on Solana or Polygon. Either choice is fine — they both move the same dollars.

Tax considerations

Stablecoin income is income

Not legal or tax advice. Local rules vary widely. Consult a tax professional in your jurisdiction before filing.

Tax authorities almost everywhere treat stablecoin income exactly like any other income — denominated in your local currency at the USD value on the day it landed. Two regional notes:

  • United States: stablecoin sales are reported on Schedule C as self-employment income. If Getly settles more than $600 to you in a year, expect a 1099 form. Quarterly estimated tax applies the same way it does for any freelancer.
  • European Union: VAT applies on each sale. Getly handles VAT collection for fiat sales via Stripe's Merchant of Record service; for crypto sales, the seller is responsible for declaring and remitting VAT according to local rules. The MOSS / OSS scheme handles cross-border VAT for most EU sellers.

Getly issues a year-end earnings summary in January listing every payout in USD and the on-chain transaction hash. Hand it to your accountant. Most countries have a clear path from here, but the path is country-specific — get a local opinion before filing.

Four steps to your first crypto payout

  1. 1Sign up at /sell. Email or Google login. No card on file required.
  2. 2Add a USDT or USDC wallet address in dashboard settings. Triple-check it — on-chain transfers are irreversible.
  3. 3Choose your network preference (Tron, Solana, Polygon, BSC, or Ethereum). Tron is the default for USDT, Solana is the default for USDC.
  4. 4List your first product and share the link. The next 1st or 15th, your share lands in your wallet.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a crypto wallet to sell on Getly?

No. A crypto wallet is only required if you want crypto payouts. Stripe Connect (fiat) is the default option and works in roughly 50 supported countries. You can switch payout method at any time in settings.

What's the minimum payout in crypto?

The crypto minimum is $5 USD-equivalent, compared to $10 for Stripe fiat payouts. We set it lower because stablecoin transfer fees are predictable and stable, so smaller amounts still make sense to send.

Which network is cheapest for USDT payouts?

Tron (TRC20) is the cheapest practical USDT network — fees are typically around $0.50 per transfer and transactions confirm in about a minute. Solana is even cheaper but only supports USDC, not USDT.

Can I switch between fiat and crypto payouts month to month?

Yes. Change your payout preference in settings any time before the cutoff (the 12th for the 15th payout, the 28th for the 1st payout). After the cutoff, the next batch is locked in but you can switch the one after.

Is the crypto payout instant?

Payouts run on the 1st and 15th of each month at 03:00 UTC. Once dispatched, the on-chain transfer typically lands in 1–30 minutes depending on the network: ~10 seconds on Solana, ~1 minute on Tron, ~5 minutes on Ethereum.

What if my country bans crypto?

You can still sell on Getly using Stripe Connect (fiat) if Stripe operates in your country. Crypto payouts are blocked in OFAC-sanctioned regions and a small number of jurisdictions where NOWPayments cannot legally settle.

Do I have to declare crypto income for tax?

Yes — stablecoin income is income, just like fiat. Getly issues a year-end earnings summary that you can give to an accountant. Local rules vary widely, so consult a professional in your jurisdiction.

Can buyers pay in crypto?

Yes. At checkout, buyers choose Stripe (Visa/Mastercard/Apple Pay) or crypto (USDT/USDC via NOWPayments invoice on the same five networks). Either way, your earnings accrue in USD value and are paid out per your preference.
