Cold or rainy day and the class has to stay in? This printable pack gives you ready-to-run indoor recess games for Grades K–5, plus a one-page menu so you can pick a game by how loud it gets, how long it takes and how many students play.

What you get (one zip file, 26 pages in each PDF):

• 4 PDFs: US Letter color, US Letter ink-saver, A4 color, A4 ink-saver. All four have the same pages.

• A README and the font licenses

What’s inside:

• Teacher Quick-Pick Menu: every game sorted by voice level (0 silent to 3 game voices), with minutes, group size and page number

• 24 movement cards, 6 per page. Every move is done in place, beside a desk or chair, with no equipment

• 12 quiet and group game cards, 6 per page. Each lists what you need: nothing, or paper and pencils (one game uses a paper snowflake you make)

• Snowy Corners: how-to page with two ways to play, 4 full-page corner signs (Snowflake, Mitten, Hat, Snowman) and 40 prompts with four answers each

• Draw the Word: how-to page, 40 word cards for Grades K–2 and 40 for Grades 3–5

• Our Indoor Recess Rules poster, a Voice Levels poster and an “Indoor Recess Today” door sign

• Team Scoreboard (4 teams, 10 rounds) and Snowflake Tally Board (6 teams)

Prize ideas printed in the pack are picking the next game, being line leader, or a sticker or star the teacher draws. No food is used.

Good to know:

• Winter-themed (snowflakes, mittens, hats, snowmen) with no holiday content, so it works all season

• Print at Actual size (100%). Cut cards on the dashed lines; cardstock is optional

• Every page keeps at least 0.5 inch of white edge (checked by script). Smallest text is 8 pt. Fonts are embedded

• Checked on screen in MuPDF and Poppler PDF viewers. Other viewers not tested. Not test-printed on paper

• Print only; there are no fillable fields
