Ochrea is an editorial WordPress block theme for designers, creative studios, and freelancers. Big serif headlines, a warm paper palette, and hand-designed sections give you a calm, typographic portfolio that looks finished the moment you activate it.

Edit everything visually in the Site Editor, or build pages from simple fields with the included Ochrea Toolkit plugin. It works with both the Block Editor and the Classic Editor, so you can use whichever you prefer.

What you get

• Ochrea theme (ZIP): 17 block patterns, 11 templates, 5 colour styles and a sans-serif typography style

• Ochrea Toolkit plugin (ZIP): settings panel, page section builder and one-click demo content

• Child theme (ZIP) for your own custom code

• Documentation (HTML) with step-by-step setup

• Original demo artwork (11 images, CC0) and self-hosted fonts

Highlights

• Ochrea Sections: build any page from 12 ready-made section types (hero, selected work, services, about, process, testimonial, pricing, FAQ, latest posts, contact). Add, drag, duplicate, and remove sections, and pick images and links from simple fields.

• Ready from day one: the homepage, About, and Services pages come pre-built with sample content you replace.

• Change once, update everywhere: email, address, opening hours, booking link and social profiles live in one settings panel.

• Classic Editor support: posts written in the Classic Editor are styled to match, and the editor itself uses the theme's fonts and colours.

• Full RTL and Arabic support with bundled IBM Plex Sans Arabic.

• Accessible: WCAG AA colour contrast, visible focus states, and reduced-motion support.

• No page builder, no required third-party plugins. Built on core WordPress blocks, so it stays fast and future-proof.

Perfect for:

Graphic and brand designers, UI/UX designers, small studios and agencies, illustrators, photographers, and freelancers who want a polished portfolio without fighting a page builder.
