Make a clean one-page high school transcript and see exactly how the GPA was worked out.

What you get (one zip):

• Spreadsheet in .ods and .xlsx, blank version plus a filled fictional example. Tabs: Start Here, Settings, Courses, Transcript, GPA Workings.

• Fillable one-page transcript PDF (US Letter), in color and in black and white, with an instruction page and a worked GPA example.

• The same PDF filled with a made-up student, so you can see the finished look.

Spreadsheet features:

• Courses for grades 9-12, plus high-school credit earned before grade 9. Up to 80 course rows.

• Unweighted and weighted GPA, per year and cumulative.

• Editable grading scale (points per letter, A+ to F) and editable weights. Defaults: Honors +0.5, Advanced/College-level +1.0, Dual enrollment +0, weighted cap 5.0.

• Pass and In progress courses are listed on the transcript (P / IP) but left out of the GPA.

• F counts in the GPA with 0 credits earned. Mark the earlier attempt of a repeated course and it is left out.

• GPA Workings tab shows every number behind the GPA, row by row, with a Check column that flags missing credits or grades.

• One-page printable Transcript tab: up to 10 courses per grade (9-12) and 4 courses before grade 9.

• No macros, nothing locked, drop-down lists built in.

Tested in Google Sheets (File → Import) and LibreOffice Calc. Excel not tested.

Fillable PDF: form filling checked with pypdf and poppler; Adobe Acrobat, Apple Preview and browser viewers not tested. The PDF does not calculate; you type the GPA in yourself (or print the spreadsheet's Transcript tab instead).

Time: about 30-60 minutes for a first full transcript (estimated). For parents or guardians of high-school students.
