Division Catch-up is a 48-page workbook for learners aged 8–11 who can make equal groups and are developing their times-table knowledge. It focuses on basic division, larger totals, remainders and deciding what a division answer means in real situations. Formal short and long division are intentionally outside the scope of this book.

WHY IT HELPS

The workbook moves from pictures, counters and equal groups towards more independent calculation. Learners are encouraged to explain what each number represents and check whether their answer makes sense in context.

It is designed as catch-up practice rather than a timed test. Short sessions of around 10–15 minutes are suggested, with the option to stop sooner and return later.

HOW TO USE IT

Start with the two starting-check pages, use the route page to identify where support is needed, then work through the relevant lessons. Use drawings, counters, known multiplication facts or splitting methods as appropriate.
