2027 Calendar Printable: How to Pick Wall and Desk Formats

A printable calendar is one of the cheapest useful things you can buy online: a few dollars, one download, and you can print it again every time the kitchen copy gets coffee on it. It is also easy to get wrong. The week starts on the wrong day, the margins get cut off by your printer, or the US holidays you never celebrate fill half the boxes. This guide is about choosing a printable 2027 wall or desk calendar that works the first time you press Print.

If you are after a hyperlinked planner for GoodNotes or Notability, that is a different product with different checks. This article is only about paper.

What is on the shelf (measured on 29 October 2026)

The Daily, Weekly and Monthly Planners category has 76 active listings. They are cheap: the median price is $3, and the middle half sits between $2.68 and $4.99. None of them is free. 59% deliver a PDF directly and 22% a ZIP archive (usually with several PDFs inside, for example A4 and US Letter). Across the whole catalogue, 12 active listings carry both "2027" and "calendar" in their name, so the dated 2027 choice is still small in early November and grows through December.

Licences here are mostly personal: among planner listings that state one, 89% are personal. That is exactly right for home and office use, and wrong if you want to print calendars and sell them (more on that below).

Seven checks before you buy a printable calendar

  1. Sunday or Monday start. The US and Canada mostly start the week on Sunday; most of Europe, including the UK, Germany and Russia, on Monday. Some sellers make two separate products, others include both. Read the title or the description, not the preview.
  2. Paper size. A4 (210x297 mm) or US Letter (8.5x11 in). Printing a Letter file on A4 paper usually works with "fit to page", but leaves uneven white edges. A listing that includes both sizes saves you that.
  3. Holidays printed or blank. A calendar with US federal holidays is useless in Berlin. Blank boxes let you add your own holidays, birthdays and school breaks. Both approaches are fine, as long as the listing tells you which one you get.
  4. Safe margins. Home printers cannot print to the edge. Good listings state that all content stays at least 0.5 in (12.7 mm) from the page edge. Without that, the last row of dates can disappear.
  5. Colour or ink-saver. Twelve full-colour pages on an inkjet cost more in ink than the file. Black-and-white line art is cheaper to print and can be coloured in, which children like.
  6. Vector PDF or images. A PDF prints sharp at any size. JPG pages are fine at their native size but blur if you scale them up for a poster.
  7. Extras that you will actually use. A year at a glance, a next-year overview for planning ahead, a birthdays page, monthly goals. Extra pages are only value if you need them.

Calendars worth a look on Getly

Plain and practical: Sunday or Monday start

2027 Printable Calendar and Monthly Planner, Sunday Start and its twin 2027 Monday-Start Printable Calendar and Monthly Planner are the same design for the two week conventions. Each ZIP contains an A4 and a US Letter PDF, 27 pages each: a cover with doodles to colour, a year at a glance, 12 month pages with large boxes, and 12 monthly planner pages with goals, to-dos, important dates and a five-row habit tracker. No holidays are printed, everything is black and white, and the seller states the 0.5 in safe margin and how the files were checked. Personal licence, $3 each.

With illustrations and a look at 2028

2027 Printable Calendar, Landscape, with Illustrations is a 16-page landscape calendar with a small seasonal drawing for every month, large date boxes, previous and next month minis and a notes area. It adds a 2028 year at a glance and a birthdays page. The two versions are thought through: US Letter starts on Sunday with US holidays marked, A4 starts on Monday with only widely shared dates (New Year, Easter Sunday, Christmas and a few others). Landscape pages also work well as a desk calendar (see the tip below). Personal licence, $4.99.

For children

2027 Dinosaur Calendar for Kids follows the same 27-page structure as the plain calendars above, with a dinosaur cover and one small doodle per month to colour, plus a habit tracker for reading, teeth and chores. Sunday start, Letter and A4, no holidays printed. The same seller has versions with vehicles, ocean animals, farm animals and bugs. $3.

A decorative wall calendar for the Year of the Goat

The Chinese zodiac year of the Goat (also called the Sheep) begins on 6 February 2027, which makes sheep a natural motif for the year. 2027 Cute Sheep Calendar is 12 illustrated monthly pages as JPG files in US Letter portrait, one seasonal scene per month. This one is about decoration rather than writing space. It carries a commercial licence, so read its terms if you plan to use it beyond your own wall. $6. More seasonal designs are on the Holiday and Seasonal Graphics shelf.

Turning a printable into a desk calendar

Most printable calendars are sold as A4 or Letter sheets, which is wall size. For a desk version you do not need a separate product. Print a landscape file at about 70% scale onto heavier paper (160 to 250 g/m2), or choose "2 pages per sheet" and cut the sheet in half. Punch two holes at the top and use binder rings and a small easel stand, or clip the pages to a folded piece of card. Print a test page first: scaling changes the margins, and the 0.5 in safe area is what protects your dates.

Personal licence versus selling printed calendars

A personal licence covers printing for your home, your desk and your family. It does not cover printing a hundred copies with your logo and handing them out to clients, or selling printed calendars at a market. For that you need a commercial or extended licence, and you should read what the seller allows (number of copies, whether you may resell the printout). On Getly the licence type is shown next to the price, and the full terms are in the description or a LICENSE file in the download.

Paying and downloading

You can pay by card (Visa, Mastercard, plus Apple Pay or Google Pay where available) or with USDT/USDC. The files appear in your library right after payment and stay there, so next December's reprint is one click away. If a calendar is not what the listing says, you can ask for a refund within the store's refund window (30 days by default), and a Getly admin reviews the request. Sellers keep 80 to 90% of every sale.

Buy it in November, print one test page, and the 2027 calendar is done before the shop queues start.
