Most pixel fonts break on Vietnamese. Letters like ấ, ợ, ữ or Đ are missing, so the text falls back to a different font in the middle of a word. Of 9 popular pixel fonts on Google Fonts that a Vietnamese design school tested in October 2026, only 2 showed every accented letter. Tonemark Pixel draws every Vietnamese letter itself, with room above capitals for stacked marks like Ẩ and Ỗ.
