Turn gingerbread house decorating into a real contest for your family, friends, classroom or office party. Plan it, build it, judge it and celebrate every builder. What’s inside: 4 PDFs (US Letter and A4, each in color and an ink-saver line-art version), 24 pages each, same pages in every file: • Host Guide and a printable Contest Rules page with fill-in date, theme and build time, tie rules and kid-friendly tips • 3 blueprint pages: front and side views on a grid, a top view with a My Plan list, and a My Dream House drawing page • Entry number cards 1–12, plus a page of blank cards for more houses • Kids’ star scorecards: color 1–3 stars for Creativity, Construction, Decoration and Theme • Grown-up judge scorecards, 1–5 points per criterion (20 points total): a table for up to 12 houses and one-house-per-card cards • People’s Choice ballots (8 per page) and a tally sheet for 15 houses per page • 18 certificates, 2 per page: 17 named awards (Most Creative, Best Use of Color, Sturdiest Build, People’s Choice, Best Roof, Best Details, Coziest House, Most Festive, Best Theme, Best Teamwork, Most Imaginative, Neatest Build, Best Yard & Path, Judges’ Top Score, Kids’ Choice, Best First House and Gingerbread Builder) plus 1 blank award to write in. Print the Gingerbread Builder certificate for every builder so no one goes home without one. Tally spreadsheet (.xlsx) for up to 30 houses: type in judge scores, kids’ stars and the entry number from each ballot. The Results tab shows each house’s average judge score, votes and stars, the places for Judges’ Top Score, People’s Choice and Kids’ Choice, and the winners. A judges’ tie is broken by the higher Creativity score; any other tie is shown as a shared place. Numbers outside the allowed range are stopped with a message. The printable tally sheet adds up the grown-up judges’ scores (up to 4 judges) and the People’s Choice votes on paper. Kids’ Choice places and the Creativity tie-break need the spreadsheet. Tested in LibreOffice Calc. Google Sheets not tested. Excel not tested. Prizes in this kit are printable certificates. Gingerbread, icing and decorations are not included. This is a digital file. No physical item will be shipped. License: personal use only, for your own family, friends, classroom or event.
