I am a Zimbabwean investor and entrepreneur based in Bulawayo. In 2017 I was working as a waiter when a customer left a forex trading flier on the table. I picked it up. That started nine years of learning markets the hard way — forex, then crypto, then the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange and the VFEX, where I opened my brokerage account in 2024. Nobody wrote the guides I needed back then. Every book I found was American or British. Nothing spoke to someone earning in a currency that could lose half its value before the week ended. So I write them now. My resources cover two things: how to earn money online, and how to grow it once you have it. Freelancing, digital income, the ZSE and VFEX, and the financial history of Zimbabwe that most people here were never taught. No jargon. No finance degree required. Just what actually worked, and what it cost me to learn it.
