Brand Launch Checklist: Positioning, Messaging and a 30-Day Plan
A brand launch becomes much easier when you separate strategy from execution. Before designing more posts or changing the logo again, make sure the fundamentals are written down.
1. Define the customer
Write the customer's main problem, desired outcome, buying trigger and strongest objection. If these are vague, the message will be vague too.
2. Write one positioning statement
Explain who the offer is for, what outcome it creates and why it is different from the alternatives. Keep it short enough that another person can repeat it.
3. Build the offer before the campaign
Clarify the flagship offer, supporting offers, proof, pricing logic and the action you want a visitor to take.
4. Create messaging pillars
Choose a few themes you can repeat across your landing page, social posts and email. Consistency is more useful than trying to sound new every day.
5. Plan 30 days of content and launch actions
Map content to awareness, trust, proof and conversion. Then define the metrics you will review after launch.
