Most shows do not stall on audio quality - they stall on the parts around the episode: what to talk about, how to title it, what to cut, what to post afterwards. Twelve prompts cover that.
The 12 prompts
1. Episode angle. Turn this topic [topic] into 8 episode angles for a show about [niche]: each with a title, who it is for, and the one question it answers. No clickbait.
2. Research brief. A research brief for an episode on [topic]: the five facts worth stating, the three myths to avoid, and the source to check for each.
3. Guest questions. 12 questions for a guest who [background]: start easy, go specific, end with a story question. No yes/no questions, no "tell me about yourself" twice.
4. Cold invite. A guest invitation email: why this show, why this person, the audience in one line, the ask (60 minutes, remote, [date]). 130 words, no fanboying.
5. Show notes. Turn this transcript [paste] into show notes: three-sentence summary, six bullet takeaways with timestamps, links mentioned, one quotable line.
6. Clip titles. 10 clip titles from this transcript [paste] that describe what happens, each under 55 characters, no "you won't believe".
7. Description. A 150-word episode description: what the listener gets, who it is for, one line of proof, where to subscribe.
8. Cross-post. Turn this episode into a six-post thread: hook, four value posts, one link post. Plain text, first person, at most three hashtags.
9. Sponsor read. A 30-second sponsor read for [product]: one problem, one feature, one honest caveat, one call to action. Sounds like the host, not an ad.
10. Season plan. Plan 12 episodes for [niche]: alternate solo, guest and Q&A; give a title and one sentence each; flag the one that could be batch-recorded.
11. Feedback mail. Write the message that asks listeners for reviews and topic requests without begging: two sentences, one link, one specific question.
12. Numbers check. Given downloads, completion rate and subscriber trend [paste], tell me which episode earned its slot, where listeners drop, and the format to try next.
The transcript is the asset
Record, transcribe, paste. One 40-minute episode becomes show notes, clips, a thread and a newsletter - four prompts, one afternoon.
