Sales Page Prompts: The 9 Sections That Decide Whether Someone Buys

Sales Page Prompts: The 9 Sections That Decide Whether Someone Buys

5 октября 2026 г.

A sales page is not one piece of writing, it is nine small ones in order. Write them separately, in this order, and the page stops reading like a wall of hype.

The 9 prompts, in page order

1. Headline. Write 10 headlines for [product] using this shape: who it is for + the outcome + the timeframe. Under 15 words, no "unlock" or "supercharge". Kill any headline a competitor could use.

2. Subhead. One sentence under the headline that says what it is, how it is delivered, and what it replaces. 25 words maximum.

3. Problem. Write the opening 80 words describing the reader's situation before they found this: the workaround they currently use, the cost of it, and why it keeps happening. No pain theatre.

4. Mechanism. Explain why [product] works in plain terms: what it does differently, one concrete example, one honest limitation. 100 words, no proprietary-sounding jargon.

5. Benefits stack. Turn these features [paste] into benefits: each line starts with the outcome, then the feature in brackets. Eight lines, no line repeats the same promise.

6. Proof block. Given these facts [paste - numbers, reviews, results], write three proof elements I can publish honestly: a stat line, a short quote, and a before/after. Flag anything you cannot verify.

7. Objection section. Write the 6 questions a skeptical buyer asks about [product] and answer them directly, including price and "who is this not for". Two sentences per answer.

8. Offer and price. Write the offer block: what is included (bulleted), what it costs, what they get at [price], the guarantee if there is one, and one line on why it is priced that way. No fake countdowns.

9. Final CTA. Three closing lines: one for the ready buyer, one for the almost-ready, one quiet line for the sceptic who wants to think. Each under 15 words.

The three edits that matter most

Read it in this order. First cut every sentence that could appear on any other page. Second check the first two lines - that is all most visitors read before deciding. Third make the CTA say what happens after the click ("Download the ZIP", not "Get started").
