Course Creator Prompts: Outlines, Lessons and Launch Emails That Actually Ship

5 октября 2026 г.

Courses die in the middle: the outline is exciting, lesson 4 is a wall, and the launch email goes out to nobody. Twelve prompts cover the three stages that actually decide whether a course gets finished and bought.

The 12 prompts

1. Outcome first. Given this course idea [paste], write the one-sentence promise: who it is for, what they can do afterwards, and how long it takes. Ten words of outcome, no adjectives.

2. Curriculum map. Turn that promise into a 6-module curriculum: module name, the one skill it unlocks, 3 lesson titles, and the assignment that proves the skill.

3. Lesson draft. Write lesson [3] of module [2]: hook, one concept explained with a concrete example, one common mistake, one practice task. 600 words, grade-8 reading level.

4. Analogy bank. Give me 5 analogies for [difficult concept] that work for a beginner who has never worked with [domain]. One line each, no jargon.

5. Quiz and assignment. Build 5 quiz questions and 1 mini-assignment for this lesson [paste]: 3 recall, 2 applied, with an answer key that explains why the wrong answers are wrong.

6. Common blockers. List the 8 places a student gets stuck in this module [paste], what they usually do instead, and the one-line fix you would say in a live call.

7. Script to pages. Turn this recorded transcript [paste] into lesson pages: headings, short paragraphs, a summary box, and the timestamps worth keeping as chapter marks.

8. Feedback that lands. Write feedback on this student submission [paste]: what works, the single highest-leverage change, and a concrete next step. Never more than one big criticism.

9. Email lesson nudge. Write the email that gets an enrolled student back into lesson [n]: acknowledge the gap without guilt, one reason to finish, one link, 90 words.

10. Launch sequence. Draft a 5-email launch for this course: story, proof, curriculum walkthrough, objection handling, last call. Under 150 words each, one CTA each.

11. Sales page. Write the course landing page: the promise, who it is not for, the 6 modules as outcomes, the instructor's honest proof, price framing, FAQ of 6, one CTA.

12. Cohort review. Given enrolment, completion and refund numbers [paste], tell me which lesson loses people, what to cut, and the one change that lifts completion most.

The model is a curriculum editor

Where a model earns its keep in course work is structural: keeping six modules balanced, keeping lesson length consistent, and turning a rambling transcript into pages a beginner can follow. Write the examples yourself - never let it invent your student results or credentials.
