A wedding planner spreadsheet with five wired sheets: Budget, Vendors, Checklist, Guests and Seating. Open wedding.xlsx in Excel (2007 or newer) or Google Sheets, replace the sample rows with your own data, and every total updates itself.

Budget holds 12 vendor categories with Allocated, Actual cost and Paid so far, then works out Remaining budget, % of allocated spent and a running total. An empty category reads 0 rather than #DIV/0!. The sample plan allocates 17,500 and spends 15,720.

Vendors logs each supplier's agreed price against deposits paid. Balance due subtracts one from the other, and the TOTAL row shows contracted, paid and owed.

Checklist runs a 12-month countdown, 12 meaning a year out, 1 the last month, with Done, In progress and Not started statuses that COUNTIF tallies. Sample tasks run from booking the venue to the RSVP deadline and final vendor payments.

Guests is the RSVP list, with dietary needs and plus-ones. A guest takes a seat plus their plus-ones only after they RSVP yes, so a pending reply adds no chair. The diet count among yes RSVPs is the number for the caterer. Seating counts rows per table, so a low total flags a confirmed guest with no table yet.

Formulas are standard (SUM, COUNTA, COUNTIF, COUNTIFS, IF), no macros. Sample rows describe a mid-size barn wedding. instructions.md explains each column and formula, plus the locale case where Excel wants semicolons over commas. Personal use: your wedding, or one you help family or friends plan.
