Measure first. Sketch before you rearrange. Object / Space is a practical kit for planning a small personal collection on one or a few shelves. It focuses on spatial planning, not inventory, collecting history, object care, valuation or authentication.

The six-file buyer ZIP includes: a 12-page A4 print PDF; a 12-page US Letter print PDF; an editable SVG schematic grid source; an editable SVG generic footprint-token source; README; and a custom personal/household license. A separate three-page static PDF sample contains genuine excerpts: cover, measurement worksheet and one layout example. It is not the complete kit or an editable-source demo. PDFs are printable worksheets, not fillable forms.

Record usable shelf width, clear height, depth, obstructions, sightline, access, units and measurement notes. Capture object footprints and dimensions, compare a front/elevation grid with a top-down grid, and label generic cutout tokens for paper sketches. Three original neutral layout examples show different groupings and open space in both views. A plan–place–review sequence and current/next rotation sheet organize a display change. The final page is a filled, clearly fictional worked example with invented dimensions and an example-only drawing convention.

Scale note: blank grids and SVG artboards are schematic and not physically calibrated. No fixed scale is claimed. Choose and record your own drawing rule and use it consistently for a scaled sketch; otherwise mark it proportional only. The fictional example dimensions and drawing convention have not been physically tested.

No installation or mounting instructions, load/stability certification, insurance, appraisal, authentication, conservation or care advice is supplied.
