The release check looks for a complete approval from the named reviewer for the current version, plus a manual quality check. If the draft changes and you increase its version, the old approval no longer unlocks it.

You need a desktop spreadsheet application that supports .xlsx. Scheduling and publishing still happen in your own tool. This kit does not notify clients, inspect linked drafts, verify a reviewer’s identity or publish automatically. Google Sheets import has not been verified.
