Adaptive Music System Pro is a complete solution for dynamic,
interactive game music in Unity. It gives you full control over
how music reacts to gameplay — from smooth beat-synced
transitions and vertical layer mixing to parameter-driven
intensity changes and spatial music zones.
Whether you're building an open-world RPG, a stealth game, or a
narrative adventure, this system lets you create a
professional adaptive soundtrack without writing complex audio
code.
Vertical Layering
Stack up to 9 layer types (Percussion, Bass, Harmonic, Melodic,
Ambient, SFX, Vocal, HighEnd, Custom) per track. Fade layers
in and out based on gameplay parameters with smooth volume
interpolation. Set conditions per layer — the system activates
and mixes layers automatically.
Horizontal Sections
Define intro, verse, chorus, bridge, outro and custom sections
within a track. Transition between sections using 8 transition
types: Immediate, Crossfade, OnNextBeat, OnNextBar,
OnSectionEnd, OnExitPoint, WithStinger, and Custom. Queue
sections or jump directly.
Beat Clock
Sample-accurate timing powered by AudioSettings.dspTime. Tracks
BPM, time signature, current beat, bar, and sub-beat position.
Schedule events on the next beat, bar, downbeat, or at a
specific DSP time. Built-in drift correction keeps everything
tight.
Parameter System
Drive the music from gameplay with float, bool, integer, enum,
and string parameters. Map parameters to layer volumes, filter
cutoffs, section transitions, and stinger triggers through the
automation system. Group parameters in the dashboard for
organized control.
Stinger System
Trigger one-shot musical accents (sword clashes, level-ups,
discoveries) with beat-quantized timing. 10 built-in
categories. Priority system prevents overlap. Automatic music
ducking with attack/hold/release envelope.
Mood System
Define mood profiles as ScriptableObjects with parameter
presets. Switch between Combat, Exploration, Stealth, Tension,
and 10 other built-in moods. Smooth blending between mood
states with configurable transition speed.
Music Zones
Place MusicZone components in your scene with collider
triggers. The system handles priority-based zone selection,
crossfading between zones, parameter overrides, and
layer-specific blending. 4 blend modes: Cut, Crossfade,
FadeThrough, LayerBlend.
Ducking System
Multi-source ducking with 6 categories (Dialogue, Stinger, SFX,
Cutscene, UI, Custom). Priority-based management with
attack/hold/release curves. Integrates with StingerSystem and
is available through MusicManager API.

Runtime Debug Overlay
Toggle with F3 in Play Mode. Displays track info, beat/bar
position, layer volumes, parameter values, transition progress,
and a real-time audio spectrum visualizer. Configurable
anchor, opacity, and sections.
