Start by deeply understanding the student:

• Interests – What subjects or activities excite them?

• Strengths – Academic performance, skills, talents

• Personality – Introvert/extrovert, leadership, creativity

• Values – Money, stability, passion, social impact

• Interest inventories (RIASEC model)

• Simple questionnaires

• One-to-one conversation

Not every interest becomes a career—skills matter.

• Check logical ability, communication, creativity, problem-solving

• Use aptitude tests for clarity

• Match skills with suitable career fields
